MASS SPECTROMETRY

In conjunction with the University of Mississippi Medical Center we offer mass spectrometry analysis for drug metabolism studies, including the identification and structure elucidation of metabolites for many drugs. The Mass Spectrometry Core has experience and instrumentation to provide analytical requirements for many pharmacokinetic studies and measuring the molecular weight of isolated or partially isolated peptides and proteins. Facilities include an ABI 4000 QTRAP, gas liquid chromatography/single quadrupole mass spectrometer and an ABI/PSCIEX365 liquid chromatography/triple quadrupole mass spectrometer.
