Histology
Histology services include routine preparation of paraffin-embeddedand frozen sections for numerous immunoflurescence and immunohistochemical stains. Common stains in many of our studies include hematoxylin and eosin (H&E) and Masson's trichrome. Expert evaluation with complete report and electronic record of sections.
Surgery and Drug Delivery
Our surgical team's experience and knowledge are capable of providing standard or customized surgical procedures in a variety of research models. Common procedures include uninephrectomy, implantation of femoral catheter, jugular catheter, telemetry devices and osmotic pumps. Delivery systems and areas include:
- Arterial/venous
- Portal vein
- Intramyocardial
- Intrahepatic
- Intrathecal
- Organ specific
